Warsaw Man Arrested For Child Molesting Charges

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after the Indiana Department of Child Services discovered he had sexual intercourse with a minor female.
Jonathan Connor Stone, 20, 4109 North CR 100E, Warsaw, is being charged with two counts of child molesting, level 3 felonies.
On June 29, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department met with a CPS caseworker. The caseworker advised that a female under 14 years of age reported that Stone had sexual intercourse with her.
The caseworker interviewed the minor female. The victim advised that Stone was having sexual intercourse with her in exchange for drugs. The first incident occurred on Feb. 14. The female advised that on May 29, Stone had sexual intercourse with her in his bedroom. According to the female, Stone knew how old she was.
On July 5, the officer met with Stone. Stone refused to speak with the officer. Shortly after leaving the residence, the officer received a phone call. A female advised that Stone called her crying. According to the female, Stone said he was being accused of having sex with a minor but claimed he blacks out while drinking and did not remember the incident.
The female caller further advised that on May 29, she found Stone sleeping in the same room as the minor female.
Stone was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 12, with a $25,850 surety and cash bond.
