Lawrence “Larry” Tosch
Lawrence Lester Tosch, 68, Plymouth, passed away at 1:37 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in his home.
He was born on June 18, 1950, in Gary, to Elton and Lucille (Beckman) Tosch.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, where he served as a medic. He was honorably discharged in 1972. He was a CNA at Signature Health Care of Bremen for a while before moving onto Help at Home Nursing Care, where he was most recently employed.
He loved being outdoors and watching the wildlife and was a life long Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by two children: Jeff Tosch, Warsaw; and Tori (Tyler) Reneker, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Elijah and Asher Reneker; and four siblings: Robert (Pam) Tosch, Hobart; Sharon (Bill) Ley, Bettendorf, IA; Rick Tosch, Georgetown; and twin sister: Linda Smith. He is also survived by ex-wife: Patricia Tosch, Warsaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Becky Geib; and two siblings: Robin and Joyce. A time of remembrance and memories will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 19, in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 State Road 331, Bremen.
