Donald R. Frush
Donald R. Frush, 83, Warsaw, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 10:50 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.
He was born on April 21, 1935, in Warsaw, to Roberta Evelyn (Hartman) Frush and Vivian Rulo Frush. On July 22, 2003, he was married to Realis (Keffaber) Frush, who survives.
He was a 1953 graduate of Warsaw High School and a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church since he was in the third grade, and he was also a Stephen Ministry Servant. From 1968-1978 he worked in the engineering department of Sun Metal Products in Warsaw, from 1978-1999 he was an engineer at Chore-Time in Milford and from 1999-2003 an engineer at Paragon Medical in Pierceton and Spartech Plastics in Warsaw. He loved convertibles and dirt bikes, but most of all he loved his family. In his 83 years of life he made many friends with people he worked with and his church family. He will be dearly missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 years, Realis Frush, Winona Lake; two sons: Stephen Frush, Warsaw; Michael (Pam) Frush, Bloomfield; step-son: Brian (Deborah) Keffaber, Wabash; two daughters: Kathleen (Tony) Perry, Warsaw; Jennifer (Scott) Hoeppner, Prosper, Texas; and step-daughter: Rhonda (Scott) LaVelle, Valparaiso. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Maralee, Tara, Sara, Isaac, Joel, Chase, Jessica, Sam, Amanda and Nathan; nine great-grandchildren; one brother: David (Betty) Frush, Winona Lake; and two sisters: Margret (Bob) Miller, Burket; Carol (Web) Slaymaker, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Earl Frush, and his grandson, Austin Hoeppner.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon, Monday, Aug. 13, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. His funeral service will follow immediately at noon and officiated by Dr. Erik Ohman. A private graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.
