MILFORD — The Wawasee Community Bible Church, along with DJ Construction, are planning a groundbreaking celebration Sunday, Aug. 12.
The morning will start with a celebration service at 10 a.m. Immediately following the service, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony and the celebration will continue throughout the afternoon. There will be something for all ages to enjoy during the celebration. From food trucks to bounce houses and big wheel races for both adults and kids, there will be activities for everyone to take part in.
The groundbreaking will be for a new 2,350 square foot addition as well as renovation of 8,330 square feet of existing space. The new square footage will feature an expanded commons area, café, and new restrooms. The renovated space will consist of the current entryway as well as the entire kids, youth, and nursery areas of the building.
“By God’s grace, this will be the third groundbreaking in the 30 year history of Wawasee Bible, so we plan to celebrate God’s grace to us,” said Lead Pastor Josh Weiland. “As a church, we are sent to love people and invite them to follow Jesus with us. We are confident these updates and additions to our facility will help us continue that mission. Let me be the first to extend an invitation to any and every one to join us as we celebrate God’s grace and to come see what Jesus is up to at Wawasee Bible.”
Wawasee Bible would like to extend the invitation to this event to all of the community. The church is anxious for you to join them for this celebration of God’s grace, including his blessings over the last 30 years and the hope for the coming 30. As a church body, we look forward to the opportunity to work with DJ Construction during this project.
