NORTH MANCHESTER — Danielle and Derek Byers reside in North Manchester. Derek was in a car accident four years ago that left him disabled and bound to a wheelchair. The couple now has a chance to win money to help purchase a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. 

“We have two young children together and right now we have an old van that breaks down all the time,” said Danielle. “My kids do a lot of activities and like to travel. We do everything as normal as possible to maintain our strong family, but our van does us no favors. It is a hassle to go anywhere, but we keep on going because that is what family does.”

“I love that Pilot and I would love to have one we could enjoy together and have forever,” concluded Danielle.
