Jerry J. Miller, 62, of Millersburg, passed away at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at his home. He was born on Oct. 6, 1955, in Wauseon, Ohio to Lester Leroy and Edna Elizabeth (Dyke) Miller.

He graduated in 1974 from Fairfield High School, lived for 19 years in Winona Lake, and the rest of his life in the Millersburg area. He was married on Jan. 1, 2002, in Hartford City to Lora A. (Faulkner) Miller who preceded him on July 6, 2017. He was formerly employed as a welder at Syndicate Systems in Middlebury for 10 years and Smoker Craft in New Paris for 10 years.

He formerly attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse and formerly volunteered for Kosciusko County Emergency Radio in Warsaw.

He is survived by daughter Shae Miller of Millersburg; son Saun (Tatiana) Miller of Silver Lake; step-son James (Mindy) Miller of Goshen; two granddaughters Zora and Isabella Miller; step-grandson; sister Rose (Tom Holdgraser) Miller of Bristol; two brothers – Richard (Dione) Miller of Ligonier and John (Karen) Miller of Lafayette; friends and Caregivers Chet and Dawn Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife and soul mate, sister Esther Miller and two brothers Matthew Michael and Logan Miller.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Visitation will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
