Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:29 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 5200 block East CR 500N, Leesburg. Stephen R. Ledgerwood reported auto theft. Value: $5,000.
- 10:23 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 207-100 block Emeline St., Milford. Brad A. Baugher reported auto theft. Value: $5,000.
- 6:21 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 200 block West Main St., Warsaw. Officers assisted a citizen with an accident report.
- 11:14 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 3300 block South Shirey Drive, Mentone. A home health care giver arrived at a residence when her foot slipped off her vehicle’s brake, causing her to drive into a door and wall of the garage.
- 4:16 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2800 block West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Amanda R. Hood reported theft. Her engagement ring was stolen. Value: $500.
- 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 8200 block East CR 1290N, Syracuse. Richard E. Rehling reported attempted burglary to a storage unit.

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 7:39 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 300 block South Huntington St., Syracuse. McLure’s Gas Station reported theft. Value: $31.96.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 3:57 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 200 block South Lake St., Warsaw. Paula J. Lafferty reported a hit and run vehicle accident.
- 3:39 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 400 block South Buffalo St., Warsaw. Officers investigated a report of counterfeiting.
- 9:52 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 200 block South Detroit St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of domestic battery.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 8:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 1600 block East CR 225S, Winona Lake. Officers responded to a report of a no contact order violation.
