Charles Edward Clawson Jr., 52, passed away at 8:47 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Woodlawn Hospital.
On Oct. 10, 1965, Clawson was born in Plymouth to Charles E. and Joan Alspach Clawson. He shared his childhood with a sister, Melody.
Left to cherish Charles’ memory are his mother, Joan Haag of Rochester; a son, Charles “Charlie” E. Clawson III of Schererville; a sister, Melody Gentry and husband Mark of Rochester; a niece, Tiffany Carrigan and husband Matt of Fort Wayne; a nephew, Greg Gentry of Columbia City; two great-nieces: Maddy and Ellie Carrigan; and his canine companion, Max the black Schnauzer.
Preceding Charles in death is his father.
A celebration of the life of Charles E. Clawson Jr. will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Pastor Brian Trump will officiate. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Athens Hoover Cemetery.
