Bonnie L. Grossman, 87, Plymouth, passed away 1:25 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth.
On Jan. 31, 1931, in Starke County, she was born to David and Florence Tinkey Scarborough.
Bonnie and Lowell Grossman were married on July 2, 1950. They shared 61 years of life’s adventures. Sadly, he passed away on June 6, 2011. After their marriage, she moved to the Argos community. Their union produced a daughter and two sons. Two more generations have been added to the family tree.
As a homemaker, Bonnie Grossman cherished the time with her family, especially the grandchildren. After 31 years, she retired from United Telephone/Sprint as a facility coordinator. She was a member of the Argos United Methodist Church.
Bonnie Grossman is lovingly remembered by a daughter, Judith Ann Weiss and husband Eric of Simpsonville, Ky.; two sons: Terry Michael Grossman and wife Susan of Corydon, and James Lowell Grossman and partner Mark Pettry of Indianapolis; six grandchildren: Jason Weiss and wife Rachel, Matthew Grossman and wife April, Mark Grossman, Nathan Grossman and wife Arielle, Troy Grossman, and Kendra Grossman Gutowski and husband Daniel; nine great grandchildren with another blessing due to arrive in October; four sisters: Deloris Freet, of Grovertown, Jean Winkler of Grovertown, Carol Soltis of Orland Park, IL and Linda Bachert of North Judson; two brothers: Larry Scarborough of Grovertown, and Terry Scarborough of Hamlet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bonnie Grossman in death are her parents, husband, grandson Joel Grossman, and three Scarborough brothers: Richard in infancy, Robert and David Jr.
A celebration of the life of Bonnie L. Grossman will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 28, in the Argos United Methodist Church, 570 North Michigan St, Argos. Pastor Dale Doron will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 3-7 p.m., Friday, July 27, in the church and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery of Argos.
