Train Clips Truck At Milford Crossing; No Injuries Reported
MILFORD — At approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19, a southbound train clipped the rear of a refrigerated box truck at the First Street railroad crossing. No one was injured in the incident.
The train was traveling at the track speed of 25 mph and clipped the right rear of the truck, which was traveling west on First Street. The loading platform on the truck was bent and no further damage was visible.
The crossing was cleared within 20 minutes of the accident.
The truck belonged to Fort Wayne-based Paws and Remember, a company providing grief support and memorialization to pet owners.
Neither the Milford police nor the driver had any comments for the press and no damage estimate was available.
