He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Sr. and Marion Celani.
Joe Celani attended Fanger High School where he completed his GED and received the Einstein Award. He worked as a salesman throughout his career prior to retirement. Outside of work he enjoyed fishing, anything to do with water, outdoor scenery such as all the different types of trees, and feeding the animals that would come around his property.
He liked to watch the different birds that came through and fed them bread he would cut up and leave. He also was not afraid of yard work. He kept a well maintained lawn and flowers. In his earlier years he liked to play a round of golf and watch golf and boxing on the television. The attribute his family and friends will miss is how he made everyone feel welcome. He was a people person who liked to laugh and would speak to anyone.
According to Joe’s wishes, no formal services will be held and a cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
