Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 10:06 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 800 block East CR 800S, Claypool. Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress where a shot was fired in the air.
- 6:21 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 5500 block South Woodland Lane, Warsaw. Officers responded to a fight in progress.
- 5:54 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 200 block South Main St., Leesburg. Officers responded to a report of a no contact order violation.
- 8:29 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 9800 block East Swallow Drive, Cromwell. Officers responded to a reckless driver complaint.
- 9:47 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 200 block West Main St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a custody complaint.
- midnight Friday, July 6, 200 block West Main St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of harassment via a computer network.
- 1:24 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 100 block EMS B1 Lane, Leesburg. Officers responded to a possible overdose.
- 5:42 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 3100 block East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Officers responded to a report of a male bleeding from the face. Upon further investigation, officers learned that a battery had occurred and that the suspect fled the scene.
- 4:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 6400 block West SR 14, Silver Lake. Officers responded to a report of subjects stealing items from a residence.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 9:11 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 900 block South Huntington St., Syracuse. McDonald’s reported criminal mischief.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:07 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 200 block Sophie Lane, Warsaw. Officers investigated a report of domestic battery.
- 9:06 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 3400 block North Detroit St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of battery.
- 3:35 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2200 block East Center St., Warsaw. A report of public intoxication and disorderly conduct was investigated at Owens Supermarket.
- 12:47 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 100 block Canterbury Lane, Warsaw. Officers responded to a domestic complaint.
