Save Some Money On Fair Discount Days
WARSAW — Discount days are special days where individuals and families can save some extra money while enjoying special events the Kosciusko County Community Fair.
Kiddie’s Day is Tuesday, July 10, beginning with a free kid’s breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. with pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages and apple juice. The breakfast is a time when kids can sit with local firemen and their families to ask questions or thank them for their service. There will be magician, dance and animal shows throughout the day for kids to enjoy. At 10 a.m. Lake City is hosting the coin hunt and at 2 p.m. kid’s can get on various rides for $1 per ride. There will be free admission to the Monster Mash Pit Party from 6 to 7 p.m.
Not to leave adults out on Kiddie’s Day, anyone who presents their Kosciusko REMC energy card receives $1 off the admission fee.
Senior Day for people 65 and older is Wednesday, July 11, starting off with a free senior breakfast at 8 a.m. Seniors only have to pay $1 for the admission fee. A variety of senior centered programs and entertainment will be available throughout the day, including free blood pressure checks at 9 a.m., bingo and euchre at 10 a.m. and a free senior ice cream social at 1 p.m.
Active members in the military will receive free entry into the fair with a military I.D. every day of the fair but the designated day for military appreciation is Thursday.
Wristband days will be 3-11 p.m. Wednesday July 11, 3-11 p.m. Thursday, July 12, and 1-6 p.m. Saturday, July 14. While the wristbands grant access to rides, fair attendants should be aware of height restrictions.
