Purdue Extension Hosting Barn Chats At The Fair
WARSAW — If you are planning to be at the Kosciusko County Community and 4-H Fair, then make plans to participate in barn chats at the dairy barn July 8 through the 11. 4-H members will be meeting with fairgoers to share with them information on the dairy, dairy calf feeder steer and dairy steer projects. You will have a first hand opportunity to learn about the animal exhibits and what is involved to get them ready for the fair. 4-H members are prepared to answer your questions and to share with you about dairy and beef industries and the 4-H program.
Barn chats will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 8; 7 p.m. Monday, July 9; 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10; and will wrap up at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 11.
All tours and barn chats will start at the west end of the dairy barn at the fairgrounds near the barn sign. They will be 15 to 30 minutes depending upon questions.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us at the 4-H Office at the fairgrounds at (574) 267-8363.
