Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
10:21 a.m. Monday, July 2, East Armstrong Road, near North CR 200E, Leesburg. Drivers: Melissa L. Brody, 32, Whitfield Road, Northbrook, Ill.; and Randal L. Litwiller, 63, Longwood Court, Goshen. Brody was traveling south on CR 200E when she came to the intersection of Armstrong Road. She didn’t see Litwiller’s vehicle traveling west bound and pulled out in front of his vehicle. Brody complained of pain to her hip and upper leg. Damage up to $50,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
1:24 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2280 North Sunset Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Javier Juarez, 18, Anchorage Road Lot 10, Warsaw. Juarez was traveling north on North Sunset Drive when his vehicle crossed the double yellow center line. He lost control of his vehicle, which caused him to slide through a yard and strike a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Passenger Alexius Rivera, 17, Warsaw, complained of left shoulder pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $10,000.
6:55 p.m. Monday, July 2, US 30 090 Ramp D, east of SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Aaron M. Fryback, 22, West Monoquet Road, Warsaw. Fryback was traveling south on SR 15 when he veered onto the US 30 west on ramp too fast, which caused his vehicle to slide straight into a concrete ramp barrier divider. Damage up to $10,000.
1:53 p.m. Monday, July 2, North Detroit Street, near Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ruth E. Buell, 74, East Wesley Lane, North Webster; and Anna M. Price, 19, North Reed Street, Warsaw. Price turned right onto North Detroit Street when Buell’s vehicle struck her passenger side door area. Damage up to $5,000.
1:16 p.m. Monday, July 2, Anchorage Road, east of Anchorage Point, Warsaw. Drivers: Victoria Heredia Vigil, 19, North Center Street, Akron; and Steven K. Trzyna, 32, Dickens Lane, Valparaiso. Heredia Vigil was traveling west on Anchorage Road when Trzyna’s vehicle stopped in front of her. Heredia Vigil attempted to stop, but she rear-ended Trzyna’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
8 a.m. Monday, July 2, 3328 East Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Phillip S. Terry, 28, Bud West Lane, Oneida, Tenn. Terry was pulling out of a parking space when he struck the right rear bumper of a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
