Railroad Work Update: CR 250N East Of Detroit St. Closed
WARSAW — Kosciusko County dispatchers announced at approximately 7:45 a.m. Sunday, July 1, that the railroad crossing at CR 250N, just east of North Detroit Street was closed until further notice.
Norfolk Southern plans to pave Market Street on Monday, July 2, and reopen it to traffic that same day.
CR 350N is also planned for closure on Sunday, July 1, as crews progress northward. Both crossings — CR 250N and CR 350 N — are expected to reopen sometime on Monday, July 2, after paving is completed and cooled later in the day.
Levi Lee Road may be closed sometime on Monday, July 2, but it is more likely to close on Tuesday, July 3.
The dual rail gang will not work on Wednesday, July 4, due to the holiday, so Tuesday, July 3, will be their last work day for next week.
