KOSCIUSKO — Due to the Excessive Heat Warning expected to last until Sunday, July 1, both Warsaw and Winona Lake will have cooling centers available.

The Pete Thorn Center, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw, will be available until 4 p.m. today, June 29. Fellowship Missions, 1520 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, will be open as a cooling center today, June 29, through Sunday, July 1, for anyone who needs a break from the heat.

The Community Center, 1590 Park Ave,. Winona Lake, will be open as a cooling center during the day’s festivities from 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 30.  Need a break from the heat? Stop on in. Free air conditioning and water will be available.
