Alice Marie Kruger
Alice Marie Kruger, 80, North Webster, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. She was born on March 25, 1938, in Nappanee, to Charles Arthur and Florence (Gourney) Wagner.
She was a lifetime area resident and attended Syracuse High School. She was married on April 14, 1956, in North Webster to Thomas Mitchell “Tom” Kruger who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Kidds Marshmallow Factory in Ligonier for several years.
She was a member of the Salem Community Church in Wilmot and formerly attended the North Webster Church of God.
She is survived by her husband; five daughters: Suzanne (Steve) Bryant, North Webster; Patricia (Ronald) Zeller, Roann; Christine (Christopher) Riga, Williston, Fla.; Lori (Rex) Schrader, Columbia City; and Tina (Troy) Harney, Syracuse; 14 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 17 step-great grandchildren; two half-brothers: Mark (Sandra) Wagner, Richmond; and Steve (Donna) Wagner, Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Dorothy Wagner, great grandson, Ephraim Michael Stull, three sisters: Doris Gordon, Marjorie Barnhart and Grace Wagner; and brother, Duane Wagner.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Colby officiating. Burial will follow the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
