Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
9:57 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, South CR 200W, north of West Maple Lane, Claypool. Driver: Gretchen A. Bailey, 42, West CR 700S, Claypool. Bailey was traveling south on CR 200W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
10:56 a.m. Friday, June 8, South SR 25, south of West CR 100S, Warsaw. Drivers: Arissa D. Hammond, 40, East Main Street, Akron; and Jaden B. Biddle, 21, West CR 200N, Warsaw. Biddle was traveling south on SR 25 when Hammond failed to stop at a stop sign, striking Biddle’s vehicle on the passenger side. Hammond was trapped in her vehicle and once she was removed, she was loaded in the ambulance. She sustained injuries, but it is unknown how severe at this time. Damage up to $50,000.
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, SR 13, near East South Street. Drivers: Robert L. Chupp, 35, East CR 150N, Pierceton; and Eli Lilly, 74, Ditch Road, Carmel. Cheap was driving north on SR 13 when a car in front of him stopped to turn left. Chupp didn’t see the brake lights on Lilly’s vehicle, causing his vehicle to strike Lilly’s. Damage up to $10,000.
Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
1:24 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, Warrior Path, Syracuse. Michelle L. Graber, 51, CR 29, Syracuse. Graber told police she was backing her vehicle out of a parking space at the high school and failed to see the parked vehicle behind her. Damage up to $5,000.
5:20 p.m. Monday, June 11, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Calvin C. Kline, 66, Wawonaissa Drive, Syracuse. Kline told police he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space and failed to see a yellow concrete post behind his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
9:03 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, East Center Street, west of North Scott Street. Drivers: Sue A. Wallen, 58, Paxton Drive, Warsaw; and Christi A. Berg, 52, West Porter Street, Warsaw. Allen was traveling east on Center Street when she rear-ended Berg’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
