Judith L. Masterson
Judith L. Masterson, 69, of Plymouth, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Masterson was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Plymouth, to the late John and Ina (Brown) Hoeffer. She graduated from Tyner High School in 1966.
Masterson married Dillard “Bud” J. Masterson. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2003.
She worked for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth in housekeeping, and she was a former member of the Tyner United Methodist Church.
Masterson was a beautiful, kind-hearted woman who was loved by many. She loved making memories with her grandchildren and being with family. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Masterson never allowed anyone to leave hungry because serving others is what made her happy.
Surviving are her two daughters; Amanda Sue Thompson of Plymouth and Michelle (Jerry) Lamb of Tyner, three grandchildren; Erica (Andrew) Jurgonski, Aaron (Cara Gee) Thompson and Jared (Chantal Bland) Thompson; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Thompson. Also surviving are her two brothers; Pat (Nancy) Hoeffer of Argos and Joda (Beverly) Hoeffer of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, in the funeral home. Burial will be follow in the Tyner Cemetery.
