Humane Society Of Southwestern Michigan To Open New Shelter
ROYALTON TOWNSHIP, MICH. — The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan will open its new location this weekend.
Construction on the $2 million building in Royalton Township began last year.
According to our reporting partners at WSJM, the shelter has spent the past few weeks moving in to the new location on Niles Road.
A ribbon cutting will be held at noon on Saturday to celebrate.
After that, they will return to their normal days of operation.
The humane society’s executive director says they’re still raising money to help pay off the new facility
