WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital, a member of the Lutheran Health Network, recently donated $1,500 to the American Cancer Society as a proud sponsor of the upcoming Relay for Life.
The event will be held June 9 from noon to midnight in Central Park, 225 Fort Wayne St. KCH sponsored the kickoff event and will also participate in the survivor dinner. The KCH Cancer Care Center and KCH will have two walking teams taking part in this year’s relay.
“Our participation supports our patients—our community members who are fighting cancer—because we know what they are experiencing and we want to stand by them,” said Hugh Gerard, director of the KCH Cancer Care Center. “We work with local patients throughout their treatment, caring for them, as well as their families who are going through this battle.
