Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
11:32 p.m. Saturday, June 2, SR 19 and West CR 100S, Bourbon. Driver: Carol A. Helmuth, 49, CR 56, Nappanee. Helmuth’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:27 a.m. Saturday, June 2, East Bowser Road, Syracuse. A vehicle was parked at the Frog Tavern overflow parking lot when it was struck by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle is not known at this time. Damage up to $2,500.
9:17 p.m. Friday, June 1, East Benton Street, east of North Harrison Street, Syracuse. A vehicle sideswiped a parked, unoccupied vehicle. The driver of the vehicle is not known at this time. Damage up to $750.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:45 p.m. Sunday, June 3, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Skyler L. Holsclaw, 21, Jefferson Street, Leesburg. Holsclaw’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle in the Hacienda parking lot as Holsclaw was backing out of a parking space. Damage up to $2,500.
1:46 p.m. Sunday, June 3, North Detroit Street, west of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Austin J. Rose, 21, Roosevelt Street, Warsaw; and Marc A. Bernero, 60, Lincoln Highway, Plymouth. The vehicles collided when Bernero’s vehicle was approaching the intersection of the US 30E ramp and Rose’s vehicle turned left in front of him. Damage up to $2,500.
1:27 p.m. Saturday, June 2, Canal Street, east of North Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Geraldine E. Swihart, 61, West Red Bird Lane, Mentone; and Angela M. Rieder, 30, Deerfield Path, Warsaw. Swihart’s vehicle struck Rieder’s vehicle when Swihart was backing out of a parking space. Damage up to $5,000.
