WACC Students Honor Supervisors
WARSAW — Warsaw Area Career Center work-based learning co-op students recently honored their supervisors at an employer appreciation luncheon presented by Vitale Events at 2517 in Warsaw.
The 33 co-op students expressed appreciation to their supervisors for their guidance and understanding in teaching them professional skills and aiding them in the transition from school to a training site.
The Work-Based Learning Co-Op Student of the Year recipient was Ciara Stout, who worked in the Human Resources Department at Tecomet under the supervision of Kay Kelley.
Positive Attitude Awards were presented to Liza Lewis, Nick Marsh and Christian Raish. Professional Growth Awards were presented to Brenda Alvarado, Noah Diaz, Dillon King, Kyle Rickert and Hannah Williams. Work-Based Learning Co-Op Excellence Awards were presented to Mia Beckham, Emali Grose, Colton Lind, Brendan Perry, Savannah Taylor and Matthew Watson.
