Tippecanoe Valley Thanks Junior Achievement Volunteers
Dear Editor,
As we end another successful school year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank a special group of volunteers in our schools. The community volunteers for Junior Achievement for Akron Elementary, Mentone Elementary, Tippecanoe Valley Middle School and Tippecanoe Valley High School commit their time and talents to our students to help them plan for their future by teaching financial literacy, work readiness skills and entrepreneurship. Currently, through Junior Achievement volunteers, six thousand students in Kosciusko County are reached. I would love to see that number increased to all classrooms and students served in the county.
Recently, the board of Junior Achievement serving our school district held a successful fundraiser where over 300 community members participated. Thank you to the participants and corporate sponsors. These programs would not be possible without you.
Thank you to all those who contributed in any way to the Junior Achievement programs in our schools. In doing so you are investing in a bright future for our community.
Sincerely,
Brett R. Boggs
Superintendent, Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation
