End Of Year Awards Presented To Robotics Students
SYRACUSE — Wawasee Iron Pride Robotics team had its annual end of year awards program on the Dixie Sternwheeler Monday, May 21. Awards presented were as follows:
Team Awards (Voted On By Team Members)
Design Award — A team that demonstrates an organized and professional approach to the design process, project and time management, and team organization.
574C Centurion — Joe Kelsheimer, Nick Murphy, Evan Rassi, Micah Rassi
Energy Award- A team that displays a high level of enthusiasm and passion throughout the season.
574D Immortal — Wesley Hays, Jack Collins, Noah Beckner, Cory Dunivan
Inspire Award — A team that demonstrates outstanding leadership through actions with other teams as a leader in innovative and creative design and inspiring others through cooperative learning.
574A Legends — Joe LeCount, Davey Daffron, Mandi Mall, Madi McDonald, Zach Avery
Sportsmanship — A team that has earned the respect and admiration of club members by being courteous, helpful, and respectful, and by demonstrating the spirit of friendly competition throughout the season.

Promote Award — An individual who has worked hard to promote the club by embodying the spirit of the Iron Pride and sharing its mission with others, spreading its name through the community and garnering support from them.

Volunteer of the Year — An individual who demonstrates commitment and devotion to the club, putting in many hours of hard work with persistence and passion.

Partner of the Year — The Partner of the Year Award is presented to an organization that consistently supports students and schools as they pursue excellence in the VEX Robotics competition. There are many partners and organizations that deserve recognition for their support of the REC Foundation and the VEX Robotics competition. This partner supports student and school efforts to advance educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math subject areas; their generosity creates a positive impact for all those touched by the VEX Robotics competition. The recipient of this award is recognized as a “champion” that fights for affordability and accessibility for all participants.
