Gary Stutzman — UPDATED
Gary Stutzman, 65, Warsaw, passed away at 3:05 p.m.Thursday May 17, 2018 at 3:05 p.m. in his residence. He was born on August 10, 1952 to Jonas and Gladys (MacLain) Stutzman in Plymouth, Indiana, and has been a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.
Mr. Stutzman was united in marriage to Sherri Rae Kehoe on May 22, 1980, in Warsaw. She preceded Mr. Stutzman on June 27, 2009.
He retired from RR Donnelly’s in 2009 as a printing press operator. He spent his free time watching sports, particularly the Chicago Cubs, and generally with a cold beer. He also enjoyed testing his wits with mental games, such as Jeopardy or crossword puzzles. He had a very deep love for his family, grandchildren, and his quiet life on the river.
Gary Stutzman is survived by his children: Sara (Randy) Wilde of Richwood, Ohio; Nick (Shawna) Stutzman of Fort Wayne; and Ross (Virginia) Stutzman of Las Vegas, Nev.; Sisters Debbie (Tom) Rubesha of Argos; Toni Oyler of San Marcos, Texas; and Raelen Stutzman also from San Marcos, Texas; grandchildren: Aaron, Allen, Aidan, Ashley and Addison; a sister-in-Law, Shelia (Rick) Ellis of Leesburg; Kerry (Karen) Kehoe and Dane Lane both of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sherri.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held from 2-5 p.m., Friday June 1,in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
