Valley Golf: Vikings Finish Behind Manchester, Whitko
ROCHESTER — Manchester topped a three-way Three Rivers Conference boys golf meet at Round Barn, while Whitko split the meet with the Squires and Tippecanoe Valley Thursday night.
Manchester’s 185 was sixth strokes better than Whitko’s tally, and Valley slotted in behind both with a 229 score.
Cade Brouyette carded 44 to lead the Vikings, followed by Carter Kistler’s 54. Bryce Madeford shot 64, and Mason Purvis was just three strokes back with a 67, while Corey Fincher carded 74.
Manchester was paced by Harley Kruschwitz’s low-medalist round of 41. Claton Hendrix shot 45, and Nathan Self shot 48, while Knorad Borgman and Logan Parrett both carded 51.
