Claypool Town Board Reminds City About Spring Clean-Up
CLAYPOOL — Business was very brief at the Claypool Town Board meeting Tuesday, May 15.
The board reminded the community that spring clean-up will take place Wednesday, May 23. Items that residents would like to dispose of can be placed at curbsides for pick-up. However, items such as tires, wet paint, hazardous materials, chemicals, computers and televisions will not be picked up.
The board also reminded citizens to not mow grass into the streets. After spring clean-up, the city will get even more strict on its ordinances regarding cleanup and mowing.
For the month of April, officers with the Claypool Police Department completed 185 calls and made 14 arrests.
