Baseball
The Warsaw baseball team fell to Concord 8-5.
The Minutemen scored six times in the sixth frame to break a 2-2 tie en route to the Northern Lakes Conference win over the hosts.
Warsaw scored twice in the first and three times in the seventh inning.
Concord outhit the Tigers 9-5 and had just one error. Warsaw had five errors in the league loss.
The trio of Jared Hawley, Liam Patton and Michael Nunez each had two hits for Warsaw.
Caden Bowers allowed just one earned run in five innings for the Tigers.
Warsaw drops to 5-13 overall and moves to 3-10 in NLC action.
Warsaw will host NLC foe Elkhart Memorial for Senior Night on Wednesday.
Softball
The Warsaw softball team dropped an 8-2 final at Concord.
The Minutemen, who are tied for the league lead with Northridge, claimed the Northern Lakes Conference win.
Concord scored three runs in the second frame to take the lead for good. The hosts outhit the Tigers 9-5 and Warsaw had five errors in the loss.
Izzy Dittmar led the offense for Warsaw with two hits.
Kennedy Tennant took the pitching loss for the Tigers.
Alexis Kern was the winning pitcher for Concord. Skylar Decker, Madison Loge and Makenna Carrington all had multiple hits for the winners.
Warsaw falls to 8-12 overall and goes to 6-7 in NLC play.
Warsaw plays at Elkhart Central Tuesday night and at Elkhart Memorial Thursday night.
