Peggy J. Metzger
Peggy J. Metzger, 54, North Manchester, passed away at 6:18 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 13, 1963 in Warsaw, to O.C. and Carolyn R. (Caverly) Jarrell. She graduated from Whitko High School in 1982.
She was a stay at home mom for several years and worked in production at Dexter Axle, North Manchester; and Advanced Assembly, Columbia City. She loved spending time with her family, pets and friends and enjoyed watching old shows, shopping, summertime and fountain drinks from Casey’s.
She is survived by her son: Nicholas A. (Aubrey Smith) Metzger, Columbia City; daughters: Jessica N. (Matthew) Long, South Whitley; and Sarah E. (Michael) Mettert, Auburn; brother: Tim L. Jarrell, Warsaw; sisters: Mary L. Jarrell, Kentucky; and Debbie D. Ramey, Michigan; grandchildren: Luke, Kate and Anna Long, all of South Whitley; and her loving pets: Lucy and Louie.
Family and friends may call from 6 8 p.m. Monday, May 14, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
