Harold Robert Wagoner — UPDATED
Harold Robert Wagoner, 97, Etna Green, passed away at 4:20 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born on April 18, 1921, in Marion to Homer William and Myrtle Neva (Herring) Wagoner.
He was a United States Army and Air Force veteran that served in World War II. On Oct. 26, 1954, in Broderick, Calif. he married Thelma Jeanette (Seeger) Pepiak, who preceded him in death. He retired as a machinist and manager from a box company in New Orleans, La. and formerly worked in construction. He moved to Indiana from New Orleans in February 2011, resided in LaOtto for five years, and moved to Etna Green in 2015 before going to the nursing home in Warsaw.
He is survived by his son, Cole (Stephanie Stephenson) Wagoner, Etna Green; Rex Wagoner, Etna Green; three daughters, Sherry (Joey) Winn, New Orleans; Amy Wagoner, New Orleans; Susie Adams, Evansville; step-son: Chuck (Iris) Pepiak, Kenner, La.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Lois Brewer, Marion; and Mary Margartet Cantillon, North Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter: Vicki Wagoner; grandson: Garrett Wagoner; twin brother: Darold “Tubb” Wagoner; and brothers: Junior and Pete Wagoner.
No services are planned and burial will take place at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Metairie, La. at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
