Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:56 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 1100 block of East CR 225S, Warsaw. Police investigated a report from Mark Bowman of a second story window broken.
- 8:24 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 3700 block of South CR 950W, Mentone. Police responded to a report from Joshua Kuhn of his family dog being attacked by a neighbor’s dog.
- 11:14 p.m. Friday, May 4, 1900 block of Indian Trail, Warsaw. Police responded to the Jason Melcher residence for a report of fraud in the form of being contacted by the Internal Revenue Service.
- 8:38 p.m. Friday, May 4, 200 block of West Main Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a report from Sheriff William Rocky Goshert of a brick thrown at a white vehicle in the Sheriff’s Department parking lot.
- 12:37 p.m. Friday, May 4, 3000 block of East Armstrong Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Laura Patterson residence for a report of mail theft. Value: $100.
- 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 100 block of EMS B63 Lane, Warsaw. Police responded to the Shaun M. Daffron residence for a report of threatening text messages.
- 3:32 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 5000 block of East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Police responded to the Michael Williams residence for a report of mail theft. Stolen was negotiable instruments. Value: $100.
- 8:56 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 1200 block of South CR 450E, Pierceton. Police responded to the Barbara J. Taylor residence in reference to a fraud complaint. The complainant reported a letter received from the Internal Revenue Service.
- 8:41 p.m. Monday, April 30, 3700 block of West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Police responded to the Rhonda L. Baldridge residence for a report of multiple unauthorized uses of her debit card. Value: $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 1000 block of North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Police responded to a report of criminal trespass at the Oliveras Estate.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:25 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a report of a found license plate.
- 10:20 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 100 block of East Canal Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a found bicycle by the stage of Central Park.
- 11:16 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 700 block of West Center Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a report from the City of Warsaw of criminal mischief, damage to a concrete retaining wall. Damage: $1,000.
- 9:23 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart for a theft report. Miscellaneous electronics were stolen. Value: $64.92.
- 8:41 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart for a theft report. Taken was a Pioneer amplifier, a supply of soft drinks, toaster pastries and socks. Value: $124.16.
- 1:13 p.m. Saturday, May 5, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of a lost wallet. Lost was a wallet, $15 in cash, four credit cards, a Medicare card and an insurance card. Value: $35.
- 6:40 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 1500 block of Dot Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a report from Jacobo Xique of auto theft. Value: $3,500.
- 7:40 p.m. Friday, May 4, 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Jennifer Neufeldt residence for a report of fraud.
