Baseball
Tippecanoe Valley’s baseball team waited until the seventh to score, and the Vikings’ two runs in the frame weren’t enough to catch Wabash in a 7-2 Three Rivers Conference loss Wednesday.
The Apaches soared four runs in the fifth to break a stalemate, then added three more in the sixth to take a commanding 7-0 lead.
Adam Myers finished with two of Valley’s four hits, and Wes Melanson and Tanner Trippiedi batted in the Vikings’ runs in the seventh.
