Marjorie S. Love — UPDATED
Marjorie S. Love, 90, Warsaw, passed away AT 11:15 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born March 4, 1928, to Wesley and Edna (Neer) Plotner in Leesburg.
She was united in marriage to Devon Love on Sept. 6, 1951, in Mishawaka. He passed away July 20, 2011.
Mrs. Love graduated Atwood High School and was the head cook for Washington Elementary School. She attended Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw and First Christian Church, Warsaw.
She loved the outdoors, camping, bowling, gardening, crafts, socializing and serving coffee at Court of Colfax. Most of all she loved making cookies and being with her grandchildren.
Marjorie Love is survived by her two sons: David (Chris) Love, Middlebury; and Dale Love (Alicia), Claypool; a daughter, Brenda (Duane) Roberts, Pierceton; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Love, Warsaw; a sister, Barbara Hedington, Warsaw. Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Devon Love (July 20, 2011) son Carl Love (Sept. 18, 2015) and one grandson, Casey Roberts (Feb. 23, 2017).
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, May 5, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
A funeral service will also be held at noon, Saturday, with Pastors Jack Worth and Gary Boschain officiating.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that memorial contribution be made to the donor’s choice.
