Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:45 a.m. Thursday, May 3, North SR 13, south of East CR 150N, Pierceton. Driver: Chenee B. Gaff, 21, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Gaff told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on SR 13 when she came upon a deer in the roadway that she was unable to avoid hitting. Damage up to $10,000.
8:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, West CR 900N, east of North CR 300W, Milford. Driver: Randy L. Ousley, 40, 12th Road, Bourbon. Ousley told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on CR 900N when a deer entered the roadway. He said he was unable to avoid hitting the deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, SR 25 and South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jordan L. Pippin, 19, East Madison Street, North Webster, Vanity S. Iseton, 25, North Vacation Way, Akron. Pippin told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on Indiana Street and was stopped at the intersection of SR 25 for a stop sign. He said westbound traffic on SR 25 was backed up and he believed he could cross stopped traffic and travel eastbound. He pulled his vehicle into the intersection, not seeing the vehicle driven by Iseton and his vehicle struck her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
