Donald Ralph Taylor
Donald Ralph “Don” Taylor, 77, Warsaw, passed away at 7:21 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at his home. He was born July 13, 1940, in Jollytown, Penn. to Rex and Nellie Mable (Campbell) Taylor.
He graduated from West Greene High School in Greene County, Penn., Grace College in Winona Lake, and received his Masters of Divinity from Grace College. He grew up in Pennsylvania and lived in Michigan before moving to the Warsaw area in the early 1980’s from Flora. On Nov. 21, 1989, in Warsaw, he was married to Lee Ann (Sturgill) Peters, who survives. He formerly served as pastor in Trout Lake, Mich. and Flora, taught school in Michigan, and retired from Kosciusko County Maintenance Dept.
He was a member of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church where he was part of the Fight Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Taylor; seven children; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
A celebration of life gathering will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday in the church.
Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw is in charge of all arrangements.
