Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:01 p.m. Saturday, April 21, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Heath D. Schoetzow, 42, Marshall Blvd., Elkhart, and Haleigh R. Myers, 23, McPherson Street, Elkhart. Schoetzow advised he was in a parking lot waiting to turn north on a private drive and did not see Myers’ vehicle. Schoetzow’s vehicle pulled into the path of Myers’ vehicle, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $5,000.
5:45 p.m. Saturday, April 21, North Allen Lane, south of East Burkhart Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Steven E. VanDyke, 17, West Center Street, Warsaw. VanDyke’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle as VanDyke was backing his vehicle out of a driveway. Damage up to $2,500.
7:35 a.m. Saturday, April 21, SR 15 and West CR 350S, Warsaw. Driver: Corey G. Conley, 37, 754 P.O. Box, Milford. Conley’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
6:13 p.m. Friday, April 20, East US 30, east of CR 900E, Warsaw. Drivers: Alex K. Dowell, 38, South Prairie Avenue, Chicago, Ill., and Robert L. McDonough, 47, East CR 125S, Akron. Dowell’s vehicle struck McDonough’s vehicle when McDonough was turning left in a crossover. McDonough was transported by ambulance to Parkview Whitley for neck pain. Damage up to $10,000.
8:24 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, South SR 25 and South CR 450W, Warsaw. Driver: Vicky J. Scutchfield, 68, South CR 450W, Claypool. Driver’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
7:11 a.m. Monday, April 16, West Old Road 30, west of South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Brandi K. Shepherd, 40, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw, and Dianna R. Elder, 54, South Woodland Lane, Warsaw. Shepherd’s vehicle rear-ended Elder’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
Pierceton
Officers wth the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:19 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, West School Street, Pierceton. Drivers: Faith A. Fuller, 24, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, and Hannah Catt, Golden Gate Way, Kokomo. Fuller’s vehicle sideswiped a parked vehicle as she was backing up. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:19 p.m. Sunday, April 22, North Park Avenue, north of East Arthur Street, Warsaw. Driver: David Waddle, 55, North Copeland Street, Warsaw. Waddle stated he was traveling north on North Park Avenue on his motorcycle when a dog ran at him, and Waddle was unable to avoid a collision. Damage up to $2,500.
12:01 p.m. Sunday, April 22, Scott Street and Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Leslie Hernandez, 28, West CR 250S, Warsaw, and Pamela L. Hall, 62, South Packerton Road, Claypool. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Two passengers in Hernandez’s vehicle complained of pain. One was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by ambulance, while the other was taken to KCH by Hernandez. Damage up to $10,000.
10:47 a.m. Sunday, April 22, West Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Emanuel L. Matthews, 43, Walter Way, Warsaw, and Connor P. Mahler, 17, Old Road 30, Warsaw. The vehicles collided when both drivers were backing their vehicles out of parking spaces in Owens parking lot. Damage up to $1,000.
9:52 a.m. Sunday, April 22, West Eagle Street, west of South Union Street, Warsaw. Driver: Scott F. Ramsey, 35, West Eagle Street, Warsaw. Ramsey advised he was backing his vehicle out of a driveway and did not see the vehicle parked on the north side of West Eagle Street. While backing up, Ramsey’s vehicle struck the rear passenger side quarter panel of the other vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Driver: Gintry A. Carnes, 35, North Old Port Road, Warsaw. Carnes advised she was pulling into a parking space when her vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
2:42 p.m. Friday, April 20, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Telesforo S. Garcia, 80, Stonebridge Road, Warsaw, and Michelle J. Dugger, 62, EMS B61 Lane, Warsaw. Garcia advised he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space at Taco Bell when his vehicle struck Dugger’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
