Yoder Tabbed As A Prime Time 25 Player
NAPPANEE – A familiar face to NorthWood football fans will be among those on the cover of the 2018 edition of the Indiana Football Digest.
NorthWood star Bronson Yoder is one of 25 players statewide chosen by the magazine as part of its Prime Time 25 for next fall.
Yoder was an honorable mention All-State selection by the Associated Press and a first-team All-NLC pick last fall for coach Nate Andrews’ squad. The star running back/defensive back helped the Panthers go 7-4 and advance to the Class 4-A sectional semifinals.
Yoder, who missed the first two games of his junior season after having wrist surgery last August, helped NorthWood to a 14-1 mark and a Class 4-A state runner-up finish in 2015. He rushed for 908 yards, totaled 20 touchdowns, had 56 receptions and 100 total tackles as a defensive back his sophomore year.
Indiana Football Digest, which is published by Regional Radio Sports, also handed out its 11th annual Griddys Awards this past weekend for the 2017 high school football season. Among the Big School All-State choices by the outstanding publication were Concord kicker Josh Gorball and Penn safety Paul Moala.
Indiana Football Digest’s 2018 edition will be released this summer.
