Ralph Nibert
Ralph S. Nibert, 79, Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in Peabody Retirement Center, North Manchester.
He was born Jan. 22, 1939, in Parkersburg, W.Va. to Charles Lewis and Rose Anna (Aippersbach) Nibert.
He was united in marriage to Rebecca Kae Scott on Nov. 14, 1981, in Ashland, Ohio. He was employed by Ashland County Sheriff’s Department as deputy sheriff, attaining the rank of sergeant and retired in 1989 with 15 years of service. In addition, he was employed by Chore-Time Brock and Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was a member of the Milford First Brethren Church and the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Nibert, Warsaw; children, Holly (Fred) Wright, Litchfield, Ohio, Karen Williams, Ashland, Ohio, Joshua (Jessica) Nibert, Warsaw, and Nathan (Stacey) Nibert, Milford. Furthermore, brothers, Robert (Lois) Nibert, North Canton, Ohio, William Ray Nibert, Youngstown, Ohio, Harry (Linda) Nibert, Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Stella (Greig) Olson, Portland Ore.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive.
Services will be held at Milford First Brethren Church at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, with Pastor Lee Compson officiating. Interment services will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
