Milford Public Library Announces New Titles, Upcoming Events For April
MILFORD — The Milford Public Library announced new titles available for checkout in April, as well as upcoming events.
New DVDs available for checkout this April at Milford Public Library include Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Geostorm, The Americans: Season 5, The Crown Season 1, When Calls the Heart: The Heart of Homecoming. The Greatest Showman, Phantom Thread, Outlander: Season 3, and All the Money in the World will be available starting April 10. The Post will be released at the library April 17 and Maze Runner: Death Cure will be available April 24. If you are interested in placing a hold on any of these items, please call (574) 658-4312.
New CDs available for checkout include music from the Decemberists on their album I’ll Be Your Girl and the latest hits on Now That’s What I Call Music 65.
The library’s new fiction section will feature titles from well-known authors including Alternate Side by Anna Quindlen, Truth or Dare by Fern Michaels, and The First Family by Michael Palmer.
Titles available to read in large print include The Sixth Day by Catherine Coulter, I’ve Got My Eyes On You by Mary Higgins Clark and Red Alert by James Patterson.
New books available in the teen section includes Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett, Dread Nation by Justina Ireland and Let Me Lie by Clare Mackintosh.
Children can enjoy checking out Groovy Joe: Dance Party Countdown by Eric Litwin, Allie’s Bayou Rescue by Missy Robertson and Grains of Sand by Sibylle Delacroix.
New movies available for children this April include Pokemon: I Choose You, Paw Patrol: Sea Patrol, Thomas & Friends: Tale of the Brave, the Movie, Barbie & Her Sisters in a Puppy Chase, and Winnie the Pooh: Springtime With Roo. Children can also check out Disney 4-Movie Collection: Kurt Russell and Disney’s One & Only Genuine Original Family Band. Paddington 2 (released April 24) and Aliens Ate My Homework are appropriate for children but will be located in the adult department.
Young children and infants are invited to join Miss Kaitlyn at the library at 11 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. April 24 for the last session of Lapsit. Children attending Lapsit will learn about music.
