UPDATE — Pierceton Days Will Happen This Year
PIERCETON — Kim Rose, organizer of the Pierceton Days Festival, has confirmed that the event is back on for this summer.
At the Pierceton Town Council meeting in April, Rose said that the event was cancelled as she wanted to take a break from organizing the event.
However, in a phone conversation, Rose said that after the Pierceton Town Council Meeting, Town Council President Matt Brubaker reached out to her and upon having several members of the Pierceton community offer to help, she changed her mind and decided to lead the event again this year.
“Over the next few months I will post areas we may need volunteers in, so please check back in,” Rose said in a post on the Pierceton Days Festival Facebook page. “Thanks again to all of you for making this happen!”
This will be Rose’s 16th year as director of the Pierceton Days Festival. Rose also stated that Pierceton resident Stephanie Campbell will once again help her run the event this year.
The Pierceton Days Festival will be held Aug. 3 and 4.
