Patricia Ann Cox — UPDATED
Patricia Ann “Pat” Cox, 66, Warsaw, passed away AT 7:36 a.m., April 9, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born on May 10, 1951, in Chicago, Ill. to Erwin and Elizabeth (Oliver) Link. On Feb. 14, 1985, she was united in marriage to Michael D. Cox, who survives.
She was a Warsaw resident since 1971 and worked as a self-employed house cleaner since 1980. She was a member of the Winona Lake Fire Department Auxiliary and the 911 Remembrance Committee. She graduated from Thorton Fractional High School in Lansing, Ill. in 1969.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Brian (Dawn) Butler of New Palestine; Brad (Bobbie) Butler of Warsaw; and Eric (Elizabeth) Cox of Bloomington. She is also survived by her brother, John (Peg) Link of Calumet City, Ill.; along with her grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Ashley and Austin Butler, all of Warsaw; Dylan and Quinn Cox both of Bloomington; and Emily Butler of New Palestine.
She was preceded by her parents.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 14, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, April 14, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw with Ken Locke officiating. Interment will be private.
