NorthWood scored all six of its runs in the opening inning en route to its fourth win in five games.
Amanda Jenkins and Gracie Clark each had a pair of hits to lead the offense for the Panthers.
Kylie Thornton and Kennedy Hochstetler each had one hit for NorthWood.

Baseball
The NorthWood baseball team took out any leftover frustration on West Noble.
The Panthers, who lost at Elkhart Central in extra innings Tuesday night, crushed the host Chargers 20-1 in five innings in a makeup game Wednesday evening in Ligonier.
NorthWood piled up 16 hits in the win, scoring seven runs in both the third and fourth innings of the rout.
Brant Mast had a huge night at the dish for the Panthers. Mast slammed three hits, including a home run and a double, and drove in six runs.
Peyton Bear carried a big stick too as he homered among his three hits and collected five RBI.
Matt Dutkowski also homered for the Panthers. He also earned the pitching win with a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks.
NorthWood , now 3-1, will play at Fairfield Friday night.
