With the continued cold, wet weather, area high schools were once again forced to alter their schedules on Monday.
Tippecanoe Valley called its varsity home softball game with Triton and its JV baseball game at North Miami. The JV baseball game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, and a make-up date for the softball contest has yet to be announced. Along with the Valley-Triton softball game, Triton has also postponed its conference girls tennis meet at Knox, with the make-up date for that match yet to be rescheduled.
Wawasee’s softball game with Fairfield Monday has been cancelled and will not be made up. The school’s junior varsity baseball game versus Central Noble has also been called with a make-up date of Thursday, April 12, with a 5 p.m. start at Wawasee.
Grace’s baseball and softball games also have been moved. The softball games at Goshen have been moved to Thursday, a 3 p.m. start time. The baseball games at Marian have been moved to Wednesday, a 1 p.m. start for that doubleheader.
NorthWood baseball at West Noble is postponed. The game will be rescheduled for Wednesday, April 11, a 5 p.m. first pitch in Ligonier.
