John Frederick Beiswanger
John Frederick Beiswanger, 69, originally of Milford, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Beiswanger was a 1966 graduate of Milford High School, where his father, Arlo I. Beiswanger, was a devoted educator and coach. He went on to graduate from Ball State University in 1970 with bachelor’s degrees in math and education, earning his master’s degree in 1975. He planted roots in Muncie, along with his wife and Milford resident, Cathryn I. Blauser. Together, they became an engrained part of the Muncie community and raised their family.
Whether living in Muncie, Indianapolis or Orlando, he spent a lifetime leading numerous others and impacting lives in a positive and lasting way; whether it was through education, coaching, business management or otherwise. Developing friendships, impacting lives and earning the respect of everyone who knew him came naturally. He truly cared for the well-being of others, all the while inflicting a level of humor, intelligence and wit that can only be matched by the very best of them. His passion for family and friends only exceeded his passion for baseball and his beloved Chicago White Sox, a legacy he passed down to generations.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cathryn I. Beiswanger; sons: Brian M. Beiswanger (Sandra K. Bernhard) and Robert M. Beiswanger (Alexandra L.); grandsons: John H. Beiswanger and Bradley G. Beiswanger; stepmother, Inez Beiswanger; stepsister, Vicki DeMao and stepbrother, Jan Fuller and countless other close friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, Arlo I. Beiswanger; mother, Mary J. Beiswanger; brother, Bradley B. Beiswanger and stepbrother, Tom Fuller.
At his request, there will be no formal service or funeral.
To honor and dedicate John Beiswanger’s life, memories and his countless contributions to all who knew and loved him will be shared for eternity.
He will forever be loved and missed, but never forgotten.
