Frances K. Stouder
Frances K. “Frannie” Stouder, 78, Nappanee, died at 6:53 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Elkhart Hospice House, where she had been admitted March 21.
She was born June 23, 1939, in Elkhart to Robert and Florence (Tschupp) Campbell.
She attended Concord High School. She had lived in Nappanee since her marriage to Joseph E. Stouder, July 7, 1954, in Elkhart. He preceded her in death July 5,2008. Mrs. Stouder had worked in Nappanee as a floral designer for 30 years. She then worked at Henschen Oil.
She was a member of the Nappanee American Legion Auxiliary and former Nappanee VFW Auxiliary. She was very artistic and talented lady and just had that eye for décor. She was a fun loving lady, who enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards and going out to eat. Throughout her life her friends became her family.
Surviving are her children: Bob (Karla) Stouder, Nappanee; Terry Graber, Milford; Joe ( Dorothy) Stouder, Marysville, Wash.; Bill (Rose) Stouder, Etowa, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great grand grandchildren; sisters: Rose (Jerry) Perrotta, Ocala, Fla.; Helen (Ron) Baker, Mishawaka; and brother, Bob (Vicki) Campbell, Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Edna Stouder; son-in-law, Harve Graber; and sisters, Mary Ann Wirt and Betty Smith.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Friday, March 30, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service which will begin at 2 p.m., March 31, also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate and burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
