Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
8:29 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, East US 30, east of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Rebeca N. Quirindongo, 28, Martz Court, Columbia City. Quirindongo advised that a deer ran into the side of her vehicle as she was traveling east on US 30. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:13 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, North SR 13, north of North CR 650E, Syracuse. Driver: Brian J. Davies, 61, North Lincoln Road, Syracuse. Davies advised he did not know how his vehicle went off the road. He stated he had been drinking. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:26 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, East CR 350N, west of North Saddlebrook Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Nathan R. Sheetz, 25, East CR 450N, Warsaw. Sheetz advised he was traveling westbound when he saw two geese near the side of the road. He stated that one goose tried to fly across the road in front of his vehicle and advised his vehicle struck the goose. Damage up to $2,500.
1:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Shandi M. Taylor, 28, North Parker Street, Warsaw, and Benny R. Stage, 53, North Lindsay Street, Claypool. Taylor’s vehicle struck Stage’s vehicle when Taylor was backing out of a parking spot. Taylor was cited for failing to maintain insurance on her vehicle. Damage up to $750.
9:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Glenn N. Bundy, 63, West South Street, Burket, and Mayling Dau, 25, Pebble Creek Place, Fort Wayne. Bundy advised he backed his vehicle out of a parking spot and did not see Dau’s vehicle. Bundy’s vehicle struck the front left bumper of Dau’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
