Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
3:14 p.m. Monday, March 26, West CR 700S and South CR 700W, Mentone. Drivers: Jamie Davis, 35, CR 1275E, Akron, and Annalyn Krieg, SR 114, Akron. While stopped at an intersection, Davis did not see Krieg’s vehicle approaching and drove into the side of Krieg’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
6:56 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, SR 15 and Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lora Hackworth, 43, North CR 150W, Warsaw, and Brandon Cordell, 32, Sheridan Street, Warsaw. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. Damages up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:58 p.m. Monday, March 26, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Jaelyn Burden, 17, South CR 950W, South Whitley. Burden was pulling her vehicle out of a parking spot and turned too sharply, causing her vehicle to hit a parked car owned by Maria Lopez. The damage to the parked car was noted as damage from a previous accident, according to the owner of the vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
7:26 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, US 30 and Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Mykola Khuda, 23, 64th Place, Chicago, and Adom Gorka, John Beers Road, Stevensville Mich. Khuda’s vehicle rear-ended Gorka’s vehicle at the stoplight. Damages up to $5,000.
10:38 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 3611 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew Owens, 34, CR 1000S, Claypool. Owens was backing his vehicle out of the drive-thru lane and struck a McDonalds sign. Damages up to $2,500.
