THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE ADULT READING PROGRAM
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Adult Reading Program this year. Weekly winners of the Adult Reading Program got to take home books, travel mugs, and other goodies. We loved encouraging our patrons to read and look forward to the next Adult Reading Program in January 2019.
FREE MAKE AND TAKE CRAFTS
Make and Take crafts will be available in the Children’s department during Spring Break. Each day will feature a different craft. On Monday, April 2 children are invited to create a bunny frame. On Tuesday, April 3 a wooden bug craft will be available and on Wednesday, April 4 you can create a flower. What are they doing on Thursday, April 5? On Friday, April 6 you can make an Easter-themed craft (Were you waiting on replacement crafts? They are in now and upstairs in the office). Any leftover crafts will be available Saturday, April 7. Crafts will be available all day in the children’s department. Bring a friend.
SPRING STORY TIME BEGINS APRIL 4 AND 5
This spring, children will learn about trains, libraries, celebrate Earth Day, and have a Teddy Bear Tea Party at Milford Public Library. Spring Story Time for preschool-aged children will begin with sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4. Parents and caregivers are invited to bring children to this free program where they will listen to readings, create a craft, and enjoy a snack. No library card needed. Story Time is the perfect way to teach children about libraries and introduce them to the joys of literature. If you’d like to come to Story Time, please call (574) 658-4312.
FAMILY MOVIE DAY AT 2 P.M. TUESDAY, APRIL 2
Get the family out of the house during spring break and enjoy a movie day at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3. In this animated adventure produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) wants to become a musician despite his family’s opposition. Miguel befriends Héctor (Gael García Bernal) as they travel through the Land of the Dead to discover Miguel’s family history. This movie is rated PG and will last 105 minutes. Enjoy free refreshments. You don’t need to sign up in advance or have a library card.

Join us at the Milford Public Library at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 for a family movie day. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) makes a life-changing decision when he meets Rey (Daisy Ridley), who shows strong signs of the Force. As they train, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) begin to fight against Leia (Carrie Fisher) for the future of the galaxy. The movie is rated PG and will run for 152 minutes. Free refreshments will be available.
